Reported Uranium Exploration in Venezuela
By Aleksander Boyd
London 09.02.06 | Journalist Nelson Bocaranda comments today that the reason of the expulsion of US naval attaché John Correa by the Chavez regime from the country, has to do information Correa could have sent to the Bush administration regarding uranium deposits under Cuban and Iranian control in the Amazon and Orinoco region of Venezuela. Furthermore the expulsion of the religious group New Tribes may have been due to the secrecy that Chavez wants to maintain about exploration activities currently underway in the area.
Conversely the expulsion from US soil of Venezuelan 'diplomat' Jenny Figueredo has rendered the chavista propaganda and subversion apparatus almost useless, for it is believed she was in charge of liaising between the different radical groups -funded by the Chavez regime- that operate in the USA.
