The Real Cuba: is this what Hugo Chavez wants for Venezuela?

London 20.03.05 | I came across a website that contains shocking pictures of the Real Cuba, that place where EU / US sex tourists and Castro's apologists never adventure into. One thing that most readers of this site don't know is that my grandmother was Cuban (born in Caibarien) and she too had to flee the island once the 'revolutionary sanitation machinery' took over Batista. Some of her brothers and sisters were imprisonned and killed by Castro's regime. In what seems a sordid and macabre repetition of history I know see how failed coupster Hugo Chavez is hell bent in taking Venezuela down the same path whilst being supported by the same political fauna. As in Cuba, the appearance of Venezuelan jineteras, given the present levels of poverty and the shape of the economy, is a matter of time I reckon; however no international condemnation will ever cast Chavez as the criminal he is; oil is too a powerful ace to have up one's sleeve.
