Uribe cancels trip to Venezuela to meet with Chavez

London 03.02.05 | Venezuela's Minister of Information Andres Izarra has just announced that Colombian President Alvaro Uribe has cancelled his trip to meet Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. The meeting has been postponed to tomorrow at noon. Sources report that Uribe may have suspended today's séance due to Venezuelan Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel's declarations to the BBC today, whereby he affirmed that Venezuela is "no terrorist sanctuary".
